Peter “Perica” Atanasov

Peter “Perica” Atanasov, a true, international Chef de Cuisine, grew up in Kavadartsi, a small town in Macedonia. After graduating with a degree in hospitality and tourism and spending three years as head chef of Don Vito in Ohrid, he went on to hone his skills in Croatia, Greece, and Montenegro. Along the way, he gained extensive experience as Senior Sous Chef on a river cruise, G&P Gruppe Luzern, working alongside German and Italian chefs. Chef Peter’s journey continued to the US where he became Sous Chef of a high-volume kitchen on the Bahamas Paradise Cruise, successfully preparing 2,500 meals daily on charter. Locally, Chef Peter has held the positions of Head Chef of Bistro 66 in Pinellas Park and Executive Chef for Bardmoor Golf & Tennis Club. Bringing his passion for cooking instilled in him by his grandmother, a global culinary perspective, and an infectious sense of optimism, Chef Peter is excited to join the team at 82 Degrees and make it the most sought-after place to dine in St. Pete Beach. Outside of the kitchen, Chef Peter enjoys quality time with his wife and sons and loves cooking traditional dishes from home for his family and friends.
